This month has surely flown by - and I took so many photos that I could barely wade through them (grins) .
Here's a pictoral view of time at Keuka Lake in Upstate New York, visiting with most of my family. While we were there, we celebrated my parents 65th wedding anniversary.
It's always wonderful to be at "the lake", as we all call it.. I'll pick a few of the best photos -
I think Mom said that this old Willow is 69 years old now.
yes, the water really is that clear
Mom and Dad anniversary celebration night
Being Serenaded for their anniversary -
I sang, and Peter played, for my Mom and Dad. We performed "Grow Old Along with Me" (written my John Lennon, popularized by Mary Chapin Carpenter)
I think that we all got teary eyed.
Brother Phil cooked his famous Chicken Piccata for 9 of us that night. swoon.. it's divine.
Typical evening before dinner... Mom crocheting, MaryBeth quilting, me knitting, Erin painting, Kate reading ;-)
brother Peter is a classical pianist, and we were fortunate enough to listen to him practice every day. (I tried to bribe him to come home with me, because I have a piano... (grins) - it was heaven to listen to.
Mom and cousin Alison playing cards
And yes, there was knitting - I finished the baby sweater and hat which are gifts, and made great progress on some socks.... but all of that is for another post.
This has made me sentimental for the lake, and I'm missing my wonderful family.
