there is nothing like the Pacific Northwest in January.
One must either embrace it or run as fast as you can in the opposite direction.

I live in the NW too... when my brother and I complained about the rain my mother, who grew up in MA, would point out that we didn't have to shovel it!
Rain isn't so bad... makes everything green and lush, doesn't it?
