Pattern Twinnings by Knitspot
I knit ten repeats on either side, instead of the 13 recommended on the pattern because I wanted it to be something Mom could wear while she was sitting, and because she's smaller than me (grin)
Began Oct 1st, completed Oct 27th. This was some epic knitting - yet with a good purpose. My Mom's recent shoulder replacement surgery meant that she deserves something very special.
I love this pattern. It is clearly written (as all of Anne's patterns are) I would highly recommend this one to any knitter. It might even be a good first lace project for those who have never attempted to knit a lace shawl - it can be knit with pretty much any weight of yarn, and the effect will be stunning in either a semi-solid or solid color.
The pattern has multiple places throughout each row where the knitter can double check her stitch count, and thus make any corrections quickly.
I've included this last photo to show how it fits..
Mom says that she promises to send a photo of her modeling it one day when she's feeling a bit better.
