A couple of you asked about whether or not I got any stash at the show last weekend..........
Here's the goodies.
Quite a few were gifts from vendor friends whom I haven't seen in a year - but some I bought as well.
Rainbow Yarns Northwest (pygora-silk spinning fiber in the shiny bag)
Great Balls of Fiber - two superwash merinos on the right
Bellwether Wool Company - the rest of the spinning fiber
Actual Size Creations the sock yarn center bottom
Hokulani Farms - the light blue cashmere-silk yarn in the middle
Gita Marie - enamel spinner hook
The nice thing about getting to attend fiber shows only twice per year, is that I have absolutely zero regrets about any and all Fiber-IRA contributions (huge grin)
So.. what have I been up to before and after work hours??
So what have I been doing every waking hour before and after work???
hmmmmm..... those of you who have Ravelry can take a peek here.
BUT no giving away any hints at all in the comments please - it's a surprise for my Mom, Harriet. Her shoulder replacement surgery is on Monday. and btw - Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts for her. I absolutely know that they help.
There is a subtle hint in the very first photo (my stash enhancement) about what I'm working on.. heh heh - I love to give obscure clues to my Mom.....
After a few blunders the other day (one errant cat claw, and one falling asleep whilst knitting) I decided to put in a life line. Note to self: life lines do not go through the stitch markers.
Hi ho, hi ho... off to work.
